Originally founded by Doug Ramsay Sr. along with his 2 sons, Meridian Mobile Mfg. Ltd. manufactured a variety of custom built mobile homes, trailers, campers, and chassis, mount motorhomes. In addition Meridian Mobile Mfg. Ltd. specialized in RV parts, repairs, and service. In 1995 the decision was made to change the name from Meridian Mobile Mfg. Ltd. to Meridian R.V. Mfg. Ltd. as it more clearly defined what we did. After 37 years of RV service, repairs, parts, and, manufacturing, in 2004 we decided to get into new RV sales. We started with only new tent trailers and today we specialize in every type of towable, whether it be a tent trailer, travel trailer, fifth wheel or toy hauler. In addition, we also sell truck campers, cargo trailers, and equipment trailers. We also have a large selection of quality pre-owned RVs and offer consignments.<br>In 2007 we opened our second location in 100 Mile House to offer sales and service to the BC Interior. Our high level of service quickly became known to the Interior and Northern areas.<br>In 2011-2012 Meridian RV and Tom Ramsay were awarded both the RVDA of BC Dealer of the Year Award as well as the RVDA of Canada Dealer of the Year Award which to today we are still very proud of this major accomplishment. In addition, Tom Ramsay was awarded Leader Of The Year from the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce.<br>Today, Meridian RV continues to be a family business with Tom Ramsay as dealer principal and his 3 children and son in-law are involved in all aspects of our dealerships. Our company was built on service therefore to this day customer service is our #1 priority. Although we have seen growth over the years we have not lost focus on providing the highest level of service to our customers. Please see our RV rentals section for more information.</p><p>Main Job Duties<br>• Organize, evaluate and manage the operations associated with the department of wholesale and retail.<br>• Assign duties and admin staffs<br>• Exploring the demanding, trending of customer and the effect of competitors’ performances on sales.<br>• Ascertain merchandise and services to be sold, and adjust price and credit systems.<br>• Negotiate and inform with vendors the possible time to procure merchandise for release.<br>• Adjust and implement marketing strategies.<br>• Govern budgets, authorize expenditures and monitor revenues.<br>• Improve and evaluate according to customers’ requests and advices, respond and solve customers’ problems.<br>• Address staffing requirements, including hiring, improvement and retention of staff</p><p>Job Criteria:<br>Start Date: As soon as possible<br>Position Type: Full-Time Permanent<br>Wage: $29~$32 per hour<br>Benefit: After the probationary period, you will join the company's group benefits program<br>Vacation Time: 2 weeks / year</p>
