Markham Ontario L3R 4M8<br>Hours of Work: 35 hours/week<br>Language: English<br>Benefits: Eligible for bonuses and/or salary increases in accordance with company policy, health/dental benefits, disability, life insurance, AD&D, and pension.<br>Salary: $110,000-125,000 CAD / year<br>Contact: CMSCA-Careers@medical.canon</p><p>Profile:</p><p>Reporting to the Director, Strategic Development and Business Solutions, the MRI Product Manager is responsible for leading, managing and executing all of the product management related activities within the MRI modality business area. The MRI Product Manager will align business needs and investments, define product requirements and manage the portfolio lifecycle to maximize growth and return on investments. This management position requires an individual who sees themselves as a business builder, leader, coach and mentor.</p><p>The MRI Product Manager will define the product marketing strategy and planning for the specified business unit, and define core customer benefits and product differentiation for all specific markets and buyers and monitor on-going market competitiveness.</p><p>The Product Manager will select initiatives that will enhance existing solutions and services and develop new solutions for their assigned business unit/area. In addition, it is the responsibility of the Product Manager to build a sustainable business through application of effective and efficient product marketing techniques to grow the CMSCA business.</p><p>Duties:<br>• Applying MRI Product/Modality knowledge, launch (price, quotation text, marketing campaigns, service, Health Canada licensing and P & L (profit and loss).<br>• Provide accurate and modality product roadmap and strategy<br>• Assist staff with administrative or technical problems<br>• Build and strengthen relationships with Business Unit in Japan, sales force, research, and customers<br>• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of the MRI Product Group.<br>• Contributes as a core member of the management team to develop strategic initiatives within the division.<br>• Plan, develop and organize the policies and procedures of the MRI Product Group.<br>• Develop and launch strategies & tactics for the modality<br>• Develop New Product Introduction proposals<br>• Develop marketing launch tools in partnership with the HQ Business Unit for new product solutions<br>• Develop and update sales support tools, product line collateral and website content on an as needed basis<br>• Develop product line presentations and conduct training meetings for the sales force on product solution positioning strategies<br>• Develop action plans, provide expertise in response to client needs, and support and advise project teams<br>• Develop and execute annual marketing plan (short and long term)<br>• Advise staff in the development and implementation of service quality assessment strategies<br>• Identify key clinical reference and luminary relationships/sites to support sales activity<br>• Plan, administer and control budgets for contracts, equipment, and supplies for the MRI Product Group<br>• Maintain ongoing relationship with clinical and luminary site representatives<br>• Identifies staff development needs and develops personal development plans for staff (educate, coach, mentor and provide employee bi-annual evaluations)<br>• Represent the company within various economic and social organizations<br>• In collaboration with Sales team achieve monthly revenue forecast accuracy with < 20% variance<br>• Achieve budgeted P & L for modality including operating plan objectives for bookings, sales revenue, margin, profit<br>• Achieve new product introduction launch timeframes, deliverables, and budget as specified in product roadmap, including Health Canada licensing<br>• ROI on clinical and luminary site investments<br>• Hire, train and supervise staff.</p><p>Requirements:<br>• University degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field<br>• 6+ years of experience in the medical industry, with a focus on MRI diagnostic imaging<br>• 3+ years of clinical MRI experience<br>• Experience presenting, marketing, and selling MRI machines and related technology<br>• Ability to provide demonstrations, configuration details/options and other technical information for clients<br>• Proven experience holding a management position with a focus on leading an MRI business unit<br>• Strong analytical skills and a solutions-oriented mentality<br>• Strong financial literacy with the ability to forecast and price ranges, deal with sales and profit margins, as well as dealing with specific client budgets<br>• Customer-oriented with proven experience to build and manage customer relationships<br>• Strong leadership skills, demonstrating a proven track record of leading projects and teams that successfully achieve milestones and complete deliverables<br>• Ability to use enterprise systems to fulfill product management responsibilities</p>
