The varied, seasonally inspired menu is complemented by an Italian and BC wine list. The casual and relaxed restaurant space includes a front bar and a chef’s counter by the kitchen. The restaurant accepts reservations for groups, but walk-in guests are also welcome to just stop by.<br>We are looking for 2 experienced Pizza &amp; Pasta Cooks to join our team. The Cook will assist our kitchen personnel to achieve the optimal food and drink experience in accordance with Pasta Amore Pizzeria Ristorante standards.</p><p><strong>Key duties and responsibilities will include:</strong><br>• Prepare dough for pizza and pasta making;<br>• Cook different types of pizzas and pastas;<br>• Schedule, supervise and train kitchen staff;<br>• Oversee kitchen operations;<br>• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment;<br>• Maintain a clean work area;<br>• Plan menus, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies.</p><p><strong>Job requirements:</strong><br>• Completion of secondary school;<br>• At least 2 years of commercial cooking experience;<br>• Sufficient English language communication skills;<br>• Knowledge of Italian cuisine is an asset;<br>• Well rounded customer focused with problem solving ability;<br>• Ambitious, proactive nature and positive attitude;<br>• Strong team worker, great interpersonal skills, and proven communication skills.</p>
