</p><p>41-9 Aerial Limited located at SW-14-26-3-W4M, Acadia Valley, Alberta T0J0A0 is searching for a full time and permanent (35 hours per week) Operations Manager / PRMC (Person Responsible Maintenance Control) for 41-9 Aerial Ltd which holds an Air Operator Certificate (AOC).<br>Job Description/Duties<br>• The successful applicant will be fulfilling the position of Operations Manager and Person Responsible Maintenance Control.<br>• Making sure the company complies with the relevant Canadian Aviation Regulations and the Aeronautics Act, read together with the company’s approved Company Operations Manual (COM), Maintenance Control Manual and Quality Assurance Manual<br>• Applicant will ensure Federally Regulated Air Operations Manual (AOM) and Maintenance Policy &amp; Procedure (MCPM) manuals are also developed and/or updated.<br>• Applicant will be involved in the day to day operations of company which will include mixing of Ag Chemical for application.<br>• The Person Responsible for Maintenance is responsible to the President for all of the activities carried out as a Transport Canada Approved Maintenance Organization. He will ensure that these activities are accomplished in accordance with the policies and procedures defined in this manual. His duties consist of, but are not limited to the following:<br>• Supervise the maintenance, repair, modification, overhaul and alteration of aircraft and aeronautical products;<br>• Act as liaison between the Organization and Transport Canada regarding maintenance and related subjects;<br>• Providing the organization with direction, policy respecting aircraft maintenance, parts, materials and support equipment;<br>• Formulating and approving policies and procedures that will ensure proper management and efficient operation within the maintenance department;<br>• Responsible for the control, distribution and preservation of records relating to the maintenance functions carried out by the organization;<br>• Assigning production tasks, identifying problem areas and ensuring the completion of the maintenance performed;<br>• Ensuring that maintenance personnel are competent regarding maintenance methods to be employed in the performance of work;<br>• Ensuring that inspection and maintenance packages are complete with respect to the work contracted to the organization;<br>• Ensuring that the work performed and certifications have been entered in the aircraft maintenance record prior to the aircraft's return to service;<br>• Monitoring aircraft inspections, repair and modification processes including quality of shop and/or work performed by external agencies;<br>• Ensuring that organization personnel comply with the procedures contained in this MPM;<br>• Issue maintenance personnel, qualified to perform aircraft certification, certifying authority;<br>• Ensuring that sufficient parts, materials, special tools and equipment are available to accomplish the maintenance tasks;<br>• Ensuring that current technical publications are available to, and used by maintenance personnel performing work on aircraft and components;<br>• Ensuring the condition and cleanliness of the work place and equipment is maintained;<br>• Ensuring calibration of precision tools and equipment are current prior to use;<br>• Establishing a maintenance personnel training program;<br>• Maintaining a record of maintenance personnel for training, ratings and qualifications;<br>• Issuing certifying authority to personnel qualified to perform certification;<br>• Ensuring that Service Difficulty Reports are submitted to Transport Canada within the required time constraints and that a filing and follow-up program is established;<br>• Ensuring this manual and technical reference publications are up to date and amended in a timely manner;<br>• Ensuring quality of aircraft maintenance workmanship by compliance with the manufacturers recommendations and/or industry standards;<br>• Ensuring that corrective action is carried out to rectify any deficiencies identified by the quality assurance program and,<br>• Retention of precision tool calibration records.</p><p>Qualifications/Experience /Abilities needed:<br>• Must be willing to mix chemicals on different farms in Alberta and Saskatchewan<br>• Be willing to be away from home for extended periods of time (can be several months)<br>• Must have Management and Supervisory experience in civil aviation air operations.<br>• Working knowledge in Microsoft Office and Outlook<br>• Proper knowledge Aeronautics Act and the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs)<br>• Within six months of being hired, the candidate must be interviewed and accepted by Transport Canada as the Operations Manager and PRMC,<br>• The candidate must not have any convictions under subsection 7.3(1) of the Aeronautics Act; or two or more convictions, occurring during separate unrelated events, under the Canadian Aviation Regulations.<br>• Experience in managing staff;<br>• Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines;<br>• Problem solving skills<br>• Excellent verbal and written skills;<br>• Time management and excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.<br>• This position requires a results oriented individual with a high level of initiative and motivation.</p><p>Working Conditions:<br>• Lives in or near Oyen<br>• Field conditions under a variety of extreme climatic conditions<br>• These positions are identified as safety-sensitive<br>• Positions may be camp based from time to time across South Eastern and Eastern Alberta<br>Wage and Benefits<br>CAD 82 136.60 per annum</p>
