</p><p>Business: Dhruv International Canada Inc.<br>Title: Logistics and Warehouse Manager<br>Terms of employment: Full time, permanent<br>Hours of work: 35 hours/week<br>Location of work: Mississauga Ontario<br>Benefits: Candidate is eligible for salary increases and bonuses.<br>Salary: $27.00/hour<br>Contact: hirecaninc@gmail.com</p><p>Duties:<br>● Manage the warehouse and logistic formalities and processes ensuring smooth deliveries;<br>● Ensuring the main warehouse task are performed accurately and efficiently;<br>● Packing and delivery scheduling with the logistic companies;<br>● Ensuring warehouse supplies are tracked and adequately stocked;<br>● Managing warehouse maintenance tasks,<br>● Establishing necessary staffing systems, processes, and procedures to ensure consistent, accurate and timely customer order fulfillment,<br>● Has budgetary responsibility and ensures shipments are delivered expeditiously at a low cost,<br>● Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization, establish work schedules and procedures, resolve work-related issues, prepare and submit progress and other reports and co-ordinate activities with other supply-chain work units or departments<br>● Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies<br>● Requisition supplies and materials<br>● Ensure smooth operation of computer systems, equipment and machinery and arrange for maintenance and repair work<br>● Responsible for the overall supply chain management.<br>● Logistics manager responsibilities include organizing and monitoring storage and distribution of goods.<br>● Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency<br>● Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes and process shipments<br>● Resolve any arising problems or complaints<br>● Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce<br>● Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets<br>● Keep logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders etc.<br>● Prepare accurate reports for upper management<br>● Responsible for monthly material planning, maintaining minimum/maximum stocking levels and timely material delivery<br>● Ensuring there is no expiry of warehouse goods, liquidation of slow-moving stock and low self-life stock through stock transfer<br>● Tracking primary and secondary deliveries and obtaining GRNs on time</p><p>Requirements:</p><p>• Five (5) years of experience in a warehouse environment;<br>• Managerial experience in a distribution warehouse setting:<br>o Record of successful distribution and logistics management;<br>o Inventory management functions including forecasting and stock reconciliation;<br>o Dispatch plan to plant based on holding stock;<br>o Tracking primary and secondary deliveries and obtaining GRNs on time;<br>• Knowledge of general equipment, labelling control, process control, product coding, cleaning/sorting-contamination control;<br>• Knowledge of Indian spices and Indian food labelling and packaging;<br>• Knowledge distribution laws and regulations in India considered an asset;<br>• Experience with computerized order entry and inventory maintenance;<br>• Ability to communicate in English is required;<br>• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;<br>• Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects;<br>• Certified or eligible to obtain forklift operator licensing;<br>• Completion of High School is required.</p>
