You tell us what you want and we will do our best to provide you with the best possible safes that match your ideas.</p><br><p><br> </p><br><p><br><strong>ABOUT EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY AT INKAS®</strong></p><br><p><br>At this point, INKAS® Safe Manufacturing is looking to fill a vacant position of a Fabrication Welder to join our professional team. The ideal candidate will have years of experience in sawing, shearing, chiseling, and custom-safe design.</p><br><p><br> </p><br><p><br><strong>Primary Responsibilities:</strong></p><br><ul><br><li><br>Consult with management in establishing and finalizing custom safe design, including safe specifications (model, dimensions, volume, weight), series, burglary rating, and fire rating;</li><br><li><br>Interpret blueprints and welding designs as per clients’ requests and approval;</li><br><li><br>Prepare and grind base materials;</li><br><li><br>Lay, cut, and fit materials, including structural design and minor repair using manual and powered saws and machines;</li><br><li><br>Position, align, fit and weld parts to form units or to restore parts and materials to their original suggested form;</li><br><li><br>Test and ensure all edges and rigged materials are as per company’s standards;</li><br><li><br>Clean all finished products using specialized cleaning materials;</li><br><li><br>Operate welding equipment: SMAW, GTAW, MIG, MULTI-PROCESSES, MULTI-OPERATORS;</li><br><li><br>Operate, if needed, cutting equipment: HANDHELD & MECHANIZED PLASMA, CNC</li><br><li><br>Prepare weekly reports on all products, and if applicable, any health and safety issues;</li><br><li><br>May train new fabrication welders, if needed;</li><br><li><br>May assist in installation of safes on clients’ properties, if requested and if needed.</li><br></ul><br><p><br> </p><br><p><br><strong>Requirements of Position:</strong></p><br><ul><br><li><br>Secondary diploma;</li><br><li><br>2+ years of experience in welding fabrication, including custom design and process specifications;</li><br><li><br>Familiarity with different materials (structural and stainless steel, aluminum alloys, metal, wood, plastic, etc.);</li><br><li><br>Experience in performing aluminum and steel fabrication design;</li><br><li><br>Fluency in English language;</li><br><li><br>Superior knowledge of Microsoft office and CAD knowledge will be considered as assets;</li><br></ul><br><p><br> </p><br><p><br><strong>Salary:</strong>$23.25 per hour based on a 40-hour work week. Overtime rate will apply after 44 hours of work per week.</p><br><p><br><strong>Conditions:</strong>Permanent, Full-time position consisting of shifts with full company benefits.</p><br><p><br><strong>Head Office:</strong>64 Signet Drive, Toronto, Ontario M9L 2Y4; All-travel related expenses will be paid by the company.</p>
