</p><p>Job details:<br>Location: Markham, ON<br>Salary: $25.00 hourly for 30 to 44 hours per week<br>1 Vacancy<br>Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-Time<br>Start date: As soon as possible<br>Benefits: Medical Benefits, Dental Benefits<br>Employment conditions: Day<br><br>Qualifications:<br>- Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English is required<br>- Completion of secondary (high) school is required<br>- 2 years to less than 3 years of related work experience such as warehouse staff is required<br>- Extensive knowledge of the tennis industry is an asset<br>- Knowledge and understanding of the process of stringing a tennis racquet is an asset<br><br>Job duties:<br>- Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics including inventory management, order processing, shipping and receiving;<br>- Establish and constantly try to improve procedures and logistic in shipping, receiving, storing, distributing products and materials, picking and packing to ensure that products are always delivered to customers in a timely fashion;<br>- Assign, co-ordinate and supervise the work of shipping clerks;<br>- Determine item locations based on projected sales volume/movement;<br>- Resolve work related problems;<br>- Prepare and submit reports;<br>- Order and maintain inventories of products and materials;<br>- Schedule delivery and ship products using external carriers to ensure on-time shipping performance;<br>- Assist with warehouse inventory auditing(maintain appropriate inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconcile with data storage system on a regular basis);<br>- Train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies;<br>- Arrange training for staff if necessary;<br>- Work closely with Internet Retailers to ensure that customers receive products in a timely fashion;<br>- Research and analyze racquet sports industry trends and remain up to date with product knowledge;<br>- Remain up date with racquet stringing processes and practices;<br>- Keep abreast with competitor pricing, and conduct market research if necessary</p><p>Other information:<br>- Workers Supervised: Shippers and receivers<br>- Ability to Supervise: 3-4 people<br>- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Attention to detail<br>- Personal Suitability: Initiative, Judgement, Organized, Accurate, Flexibility, Excellent oral communication, Effective interpersonal skills, Team player, Reliability<br>- Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)<br>- Work Setting: Retail business<br>- Job location: 7400 Victoria Park Ave., Unit #5, Markham, ON L3R 2V4</p>
