LTD)<br>Address: 1147 Austin Avenue, Coquitlam, British Columbia, V3P 3K4<br>Terms of Employment: Permanent, full-time<br>Benefits: CPP, WCB, EI<br>Salary: $25.00 to $30.00 hourly, depending on experience, minimum 40 hours per week with potential of overtime<br>Location: 1147 Austin Ave, Coquitlam, British Columbia, V3P 3K4<br>Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible<br>Main duties:</p><p>• Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions<br>• Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities<br>• Consult with clients regarding weddings, banquets and specialty functions<br>• Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards<br>• Estimate food requirements and estimate food and labour costs<br>• Supervise activities of sous-chefs, specialist chefs, chefs and cooks<br>• Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs<br>• Recruit and hire staff</p><p>Essential skills: Oral communication, problem solving, decision making<br>Skill Requirements:<br>Education: Completion of secondary school required<br>Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.): Cook's trade certification or equivalent credentials are required<br>Experience: Two years of work experience as a head chef is required<br>Language: English (Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian Language an asset)<br>Type of Establishment/Work Setting Experience: Commercial<br>Physical Capabilities: Weight Handling up to 23 kg (50 lbs)<br>Work Site Environment: Indoors</p>
