Graphic Designer

OCHK INTERNATIONATIONAL TRADING CO LTD. is based primarily in the Metro Vancouver Area with our regional office in Hong Kong, our portfolio companies represent a broad range of services and industries, with a focus on sourcing, distribution, multimedia services, aviation and automobile services.

We are seeking a permanent and full-time Graphic Designer (NOC 5241) to join our BC office located in Richmond.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare sketches, layouts and graphic elements on the products, packaging, photography and promotional materials to be used by the company.
• Redefine and improve a design brief within time and cost constraints.
• Design and create engaging multimedia content for online and various social media platforms
• Estimate the time and cost required to complete a design
• Execute digital imaging jobs including but not limited to colour correction, superimposition of images, stitching of images.
• Produce drafts to support the company’s marketing and promotional programs for review and make necessary revisions based on the feedback received.
• Work closely with the marketing team for all graphics design used on online and offline activities.
• Ensure that the final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and reflect the company’s product specifications and marketing direction.
• Test the graphics readability on various media.
• Create engaging graphics, including charts, graphs, icons, infographics, and logos.
• Estimate the cost of materials and time to complete the graphic design.
• Develop the graphic elements that meet the company’s objectives.

Qualifications:

• A university degree or college diploma is required
• At least 3 years of related work experience is required
• Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Accuracy and strong attention to details
• Proficiency with required tools including Photoshop and Illustrator.
