The ideal candidates would have years of hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing various forklift equipment in a fast-paced environment.<br>JOB DUTIES<br>• First point of contact on all equipment-related issues, both on-site and off-site;<br>• Develop and perform routine maintenance of forklift equipment;<br>• Diagnose faults or malfunctions and inform management of extent and possible costs of repair;<br>• Perform maintenance of engines, engine hauls, breaks, and various other equipment parts;<br>• Perform on-site repair and maintenance services;<br>• Test repaired equipment to ensure proper functioning and clean the area after work;<br>• Conduct weekly inspection and repair of all vehicles and equipment, including on-site maintenance, if needed;<br>• Maintain inventory of working tools and suggest improvements and/ or changes to management;<br>• Complete test and maintenance reports;<br>• Train apprentices and sub-contractors on proper general maintenance of forklift equipment, including preventative measures.<br>EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:<br>• Secondary Diploma<br>• At least 2 years of experience in forklift maintenance, with excellent understanding of engine overhauls, brakes, shift transmissions, and other blueprint specifications;<br>• Good English language skills<br>• Ability to work under pressure<br>BENEFITS AND SALARY:<br>• Permanent, Full-time position<br>• $28.50 per hour for 35 hours per week<br>• Overtime may be required at $42.75 after 44 hours per week<br>• Benefits: Group Medical and Dental Plan<br>LOCATION OF WORK:<br>55 Canarctic Drive Toronto Canada M3J 2N7
