JOB DESCRIPTION
<p></p><p>Job Overview: Our club is seeking an energetic and strategic club director to plan the daily operations of the facility and design innovative online program to attract new and existing members and ensure a financially successful fitness club especially during this covid 19 period. This candidate shall have a passion for health and fitness.<br>Major Responsibilities:<br> Monitor timely updates of government policies and requirements for the fitness industry<br> Plan, organize, direct and evaluate the operation of the club.<br> Develop strategies and tactics to promote club’s reputation and enhance the public awareness through social media and promote health and fitness life style.<br> Create and design new club promotions in order to quickly response to current covid 19 or any future pandemic<br> Develop policies, procedures and protocols according to covid 19 or pandemic situations to implement online and offline programs.<br> Improve/develop fitness programs to attract new members and retain current members<br> Observe and participate in classes in all branches regularly for quality control.<br> Manage member suggestions, feedback and complaints; apply appropriate conflict resolution strategies for day-to-day issues within our club.<br> maintain a safe, tidy and clean facility and ensure that the government requirement and regulation for fitness industry are being met all the time specially during this special covid 19.<br> Responsible for the recruitment, training, development and performance management of all club associates and ensure that staff are aware and trained on all marketing promotions.<br> Develop strategic staff schedule to ensure all shifts are covered, according to changing circumstances of current difficult pandemic.<br> design, develop and execute strategic short term and long-term plans<br> Track statistics and reports quarterly.<br> Give presentation to market our wellness programs to interested public and companies.<br> Directly address member suggestions and complaints escalated from lower management level so as to leave the member a feeling of being “heard” and appreciated, while still protecting the interests of the Club.<br> Ensure all employee behavior issues be resolved fairly and consistently according to company policy.<br> Negotiate business contracts<br>Education Requirement:<br> Degree in Business/Management/public policy/psychology/operation</p><p>Qualifications Required:<br> Minimum of 1 year management experience in the fitness industry experience.<br> Minimum 1 year Personal Training experience will be a strong asset<br> Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid and personal trainer certification required within 3 months of employment.<br> Highly motivated, energetic and creative personality.<br> Valid driver’s licence, willing to travel, own vehicle<br>Salary: $29.00/Hour, 30~35 hours/week, 1 vacancy,<br>Languages: English<br>Expected start date: 2021-02-01<br>Anyone who can legally work in Canada can apply for this job.
