</p><p>Highlife Construction Ltd. located at 3315 Chehalis Drive, Abbotsford BC V2T4Y7 has an opening for two ‘Finishing Carpenter’ positions (NOC: 7271).</p><p>Job Location: Multiple locations (Abbotsford, B. C., and Lower Mainland.)</p><p>Positions available: 2</p><p>Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent</p><p>Start Date: As soon as possible</p><p>Wages: $28.50 per hour</p><p>Job Duties:<br>• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and sketches.<br>• Determine the purchase of woods and other materials.<br>• Measure, Cut and shape wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.<br>• Construct, fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, and hardware.<br>• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.<br>• Be able to understand building materials, building codes and how they are put together.<br>• Perform other duties as required.</p><p>Job Requirements:<br>• Completion of Secondary school is required.<br>• Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in the related field or completion of 2-3 year apprenticeship program is required.<br>• Able to work long hours, weekend and outdoor in various weather conditions<br>Basic knowledge of English required.</p>
