Eligible for Health and Dental benefits.<br>Contact: HR@IGNEFERRO.COM<br>Duties:<br>• Read blueprints and drawings<br>• Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements<br>• Set up components for welding<br>• Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded<br>• Align components<br>• Weld components<br>• Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps<br>• Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws<br>• Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety<br>• Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications<br>• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW), plasma arc welding (PAW), shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), oxy-acetylene welding (OAW), resistance welding and submerged arc welding (SAW)<br>• Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment<br>• Operate brazing and soldering equipment<br>• Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears and other metal straightening and bending machines<br>• Repair worn parts of metal products by welding on extra layers.<br>Requirements:<br>• Certificate or diploma in welding<br>• 5 years of experience in welding<br>• SMAW and FCAW Certified from CWB(Canadian welding bureau)<br>• Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures<br>• Experience in using electrical or manual tools<br>• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings<br>• Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)
