Financial Manager

</p><p>West Point Terminal Inc., at 101- 5000 Miller Road, Richmond BC, V7B 1K7, a rapidly growing company involved with logistics, warehousing, transportation of cargo and shipping PPE and related materials, is urgently recruiting a capable full-time permanent Financial Manager to oversee and administer the company’s financial and accounting activities. The annual salary is $74,620.00 based on $41.00 hourly rate and 35 hours work per week.<br>The successful candidate will be accountable for a variety of activities as follows:<br>oTo assist the managing director in refining and restructuring operational procedures due to added business requirements of the Covid-19 related business.<br>oPlan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operation of the accounting department.<br>oDevelop budget plan for next fiscal year; revenue projection, and overall operational cost.<br>oPerform cost and benefits analysis for new business and business plans, estimate revenue and profit generations; advise on potential new business.<br>oLiaise and address issues relating to investment, dividend distribution and retain earnings re-investment between senior management and shareholders.<br>oEvaluate existing financial reporting systems, accounting procedures and make recommendations for changes to procedures, operating systems, budgets and other financial control functions to management.<br>oRecruit and develop training plans and train subordinate staff as needed.<br>oReport to and advice senior management concerning any trends that are critical to the organization's financial performance.<br>The successful candidate will be a member of the senior management team and will be reporting to the Managing Director.</p><p>Requirements:<br>-Bachelor’s in business administration or commerce; a master’s degree in related field is required.<br>-A master's degree in business administration (concentration in finance), or another master's level management program may be required.<br>-Several years of working experience.</p>
