</p><p>Ndinawemaaganag Endaawaad Inc. (Ndinawe), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping at-risk youth in Winnipeg, is seeking an Executive Director to lead the organization forward.</p><p>Since 1993, Ndinawe’s integrated services have been connecting vulnerable children and youth aged 11–17 with the shelter, culture, recreation, education, outreach and support they need for safe and healthy lives. Open every day of the year, Ndinawe is an immediate and reliable place of safety, connection and support for youth during times of high risk when other resources are unavailable to them.</p><p>Their programs target harm reduction, crisis intervention, education and stabilization for young people at risk of, or experiencing, homelessness, sexual exploitation, family conflict, placement breakdown, and mental health crises.</p><p>Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will provide senior leadership in all aspects of the operations of Ndinawe, including: strategic and annual planning, quality and risk management, human resources, community and public relations, resource allocation, and fundraising.</p><p>The successful individual will be a natural, motivated leader with the drive and capability to evaluate the current state of Ndinawe and transform the management. They must also have experience working in an Indigenous setting with a deep understanding of the unique circumstances Indigenous and other youth experience.</p><p>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<br>• Provide leadership in the development of a vision for the organization and regular strategic plans and priorities<br>• Ensure that Ndinawe has the resources it requires to fulfill the services and programs<br>• Establish Human Resource policies and procedures for the consistent and effective management of staff<br>• Act in the best interests of Ndinawe and in a professional manner in all contacts and relationships with clients, members of the public, service partners, and others</p><p>Visit <a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="http://bit.ly/NEI-ED">http://bit.ly/NEI-ED</a> for more info!</p><p>QUALIFICATIONS<br>• Related University degree in business administration, social services, or other relevant degree<br>• 5 or more years of senior executive leadership experience in a non-for-profit organization, or related experience<br>• Suitable combination of education and experience will be considered<br>• Experience working with and reporting to a Board of Directors<br>• Experience in an Indigenous setting<br>• Demonstrated ability and experience in social services<br>• High level of financial acuity<br>• Exceptional relationship builder<br>• Experience with facility management would be an asset<br>• Excellent written and oral communication skills</p>
