</p><p>DANCE INSTRUCTOR - Indian Dance</p><p>Jaura Creations Ltd, located at Unit 122 32083 Hillcrest Ave, Abbotsford, BC V2T 1S3 is looking for a Traditional Indian Dance Instructor to fill an open position as soon as possible.</p><p>The dance Instructor will perform the following:<br>• Teach dance technique and artistic interpretation to children, youth, and adults, individually or in groups.<br>• Teach the techniques, cultural origins, and symbolic meanings of the different Indian dances.<br>• Prepare dance students for specific auditions and performances.<br>• Ability to organized events or participate in cultural events as part of traditional celebrations.</p><p>Qualifications:<br>• Completion of a dancing program from a dance school or academy or a minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a traditional Indian dance instructor is required.<br>• Knowledge of the latest trends such as Classical, Folk, Bollywood, etc.<br>• Experience training, organizing, planning, and leading a dance class for children and youth, and adults.<br>• Must be able to make programs fun and engaging with participants.<br>• Must be able to communicate effectively with children, youth, and adults as well as with the management.<br>• Must have flexible hours including weekends is required.<br>• Ability to communicate in English is a must, ability to communicate in Punjabi or Hindi will be considered an asset.</p>



Compensation: $35.00/hour for 30-35 hours/week.
