We do so by providing a thorough, continuous training to every member of our team, starting from their very first day and by having an open communication with those who work with us.</p><br><p><br>&nbsp;</p><br><p><br>CitRex is currently looking for 3 experienced<strong>Custom Construction and Maintenance Painters </strong>who will be performing general and custom maintenance painting and finishing.</p><br><p><br><strong>Your duties are as follows:</strong></p><br><ul><br><li><br>Consult management in reading and interpreting job orders;</li><br><li><br>Prepare cost estimates and product proposal;</li><br><li><br>Properly mix paint colours in accordance to determined formulas and as approved by management;</li><br><li><br>Clean, sand, and repair cracks and holes before conducting general finishing, and if needed, implement pre-emptive maintenance to ensure long-lasting colours and minimize future damages;</li><br><li><br>Conduct custom painting tasks as approved by management or as per contractor’s advise;</li><br><li><br>Oversee water treatment procedures and conduct any necessary retouch processes;</li><br><li><br>Clean and maintain ventilation, compressed air and personal protective equipment, and inform management of any issues with equipment;</li><br><li><br>May occasionally put up wallpapers to complement over-all paint design;</li><br><li><br>Prepare weekly progress report and submit to management to ensure timely project completion and to address any issues arising from the work site.</li><br></ul><br><p><br>&nbsp;</p><br><p><br><strong>Job Requirements:</strong></p><br><p><br>&nbsp;</p><br><ul><br><li><br>Minimum 3 years of experience as construction maintenance painter, with specialization in restoration and rehabilitation for both high-rise and low-rise properties</li><br><li><br>Familiarity in using different methods: scraping, sanding, sandblasting, hydro-blasting, and steam-cleaning;</li><br><li><br>Secondary school diploma</li><br><li><br>Must be able to work outdoors and in changing weather conditions</li><br><li><br>Ability to read and interpret blueprints, grade plans, maps, drawings and specifications</li><br><li><br>Proficient with finishing tools, different selection of spray gun nozzles, paint spray equipment, and other ventilation and air compressor</li><br><li><br>Team player, client focused and flexible</li><br><li><br>Ability to handle heavy loads as work is physically demanding</li><br><li><br>Proficient knowledge of English</li><br></ul><br><p><br>&nbsp;</p><br><p><br><strong>Terms of employment:</strong></p><br><p><br>&nbsp;</p><br><ul><br><li><br>Full-time, temporary position (24 months)</li><br><li><br>Hourly rate of $18.00, 32-35 hours of work per week</li><br><li><br>Overtime rate will apply after 44 hours of work per week. Occasional overtime may be required in high summer season with increased amount of customer orders (proper overtime pay will apply after 44 hours of work per week)</li><br><li><br>WSIB insurance benefits will be provided</li><br><li><br>You will report to management at the company office, located at 50 Ritin Lane, Unit 4,Concord, ON L4K 4C9, <strong>however you will travel to specific job sites in the GTA by company vehicle to perform the work during the day.</strong><br></li><br></ul><br>
