JOB DESCRIPTION
<p>Big Box Outlet Store is the leading BC discount retailer offering a unique shopping experience to our customers by providing a wide variety of quality products at discount prices.<br><br>We are currently looking for a Cashier/Stock Person to join our Penticton location today!<br><br>Objectives<br>- Meet our customer's needs by answering questions and processing point of sale transactions effectively and efficiently.<br>- Support the operation of the store by stocking shelves, racks, cases, bins, and tables with merchandise and arrange merchandise displays to attract customers.<br><br>Duties<br>- Interact with customers daily, responding to them courteously and efficiently<br>- Occasional outside duties<br>- Process point of sale transactions<br>- Participate in the maintenance of an attractive store environment<br>- Stock shelves, racks, cases, bins, and tables with new or transferred merchandise<br>- Clean display cases, shelves, and aisles<br>- Answer customer's questions about merchandise and advise them on merchandise selection<br>- Transport packages to customers vehicles when needed<br>- Participate in the maintenance of an attractive store environment<br><br>Requisite Experience<br>- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred<br>- Some experience in retail is preferred<br><br>Requisite Skills<br>- Be accountable and willing to learn<br>- Follow instructions from supervisors<br>- Have a good eye for detail<br>- Can work well independently<br>- Physically be able to perform tasks that require some heavy lifting, stooping and bending<br>- Good customer service skills<br><br>Compensation<br>Competitive Wages, Staff Discount<br><br></p>
