</p><p>Budget and Cost Estimator<br>INKAS® Armored Vehicle Manufacturing assembles and delivers the highest quality luxury and security standard armored trucks, vans, SUVs and limousines. The Company utilizes a combination of advanced defense and custom-made technologies, modern composite and transparent ballistic materials to create superb luxury yet top-secure vehicles for its clients.<br>All INKAS® Armored Vehicles are manufactured in Canada using the best possible materials by the best-trained professionals in the field. At this time, INKAS® is need of an experienced Budget and Cost Estimator for a full-time, permanent position. Working in a team of mechanical engineers, security and design professionals, the Budget and Cost Estimator will be assisting in all budget and cost estimation-related activities, being the direct-line between the finance department and project managers to ensure proper tracking of contract terms and forecasting of future projects.</p><p>Job Duties and Responsibilities:<br>• Prepare estimates &amp; provide support during and after bidding processes for large, complex, multi-discipline projects<br>• Prepare estimates &amp; bids, including contracts for vendors or contractors and propose effective means and methods of construction<br>• Review and finalize proposals, as per Project Manager and Business Developer’s reports and proposals<br>• Ensure the proper tracking, analysis and forecasting of ongoing and future projects<br>• Ensure staged invoice is correctly followed to ensure profitability of projects<br>• Ensure all required documentation including insurance, bonding, WSIB and stat declarations are received and in place<br>• Prepare, and if applicable, propose annual and/or project-based sub-contractor lists to ensure it is in-line with agreed-upon costs proposals<br>• Monitor and analyze subcontractor costs<br>• Review cost reports to verify budgets, contracts and subcontracts have been properly followed, and initiate applicable corrections, if needed</p><p>Requirements:<br>• Completion of college in civil or construction engineering technology OR equivalent relevant experience<br>• Minimum 3 years of related experience<br>• Fluent English<br>• Excellent communication and negotiation skills</p><p>Compensation and Conditions:<br>• Permanent full-time position<br>• $33.50 per hour for 35-hour work week<br>• Overtime rate of $50.25 will apply after 44 hours of work per week<br>• Disability, medical and dental benefits<br>• Location of company’s head office: 3605 Weston Road, North York, Ontario M9L 1V7.</p>
