We offer very competitive rates and customize each electrical service to suit the customers’ needs.</p><p>ABOUT VACANCY<br>At this time, we are looking to hire an Accounting Technician to join our team.</p><p>MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<br>- Work alongside the company’s accountant to ensure day-to-day accounting and reporting requirements are met<br>- Keep financial records, maintain accurate records of transactions using related accounting and bookkeeping software<br>- Conduct verification of financial transactions and procedures<br>- Reconcile accounts, prepare trial balance of books, post journal entries<br>- Prepare cheques for payrolls and payments for contractors, suppliers, utility service companies and other bills<br>- Complete payroll deductions and remittances, tax remittance forms, pension contribution forms, worker’s compensation forms, and various government documents<br>- Assist in the preparation of operational budget</p><p>QUALIFICATIONS<br>- Completion of a college program or courses in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or related field<br>- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role<br>- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook<br>- Experience in using QuickBooks, Simply Accounting, or similar accounting software<br>- Strong attention to detail<br>- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills</p><p>WORK CONDITIONS<br>- Permanent, full-time position<br>- $24.20 per hour<br>- 35 hours of work per week<br>- Overtime pay ($36.30/ hour) applies after 44 hours of work per week<br>- Work location: 51 Verdi Road, Richmond Hill, ON L4E 4P7</p>
