</p><p>JOB DESCRIPTION<br>We are looking for a talented Logistics Supervisor to join our team to be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans that support our goals relating to product supply, inventory management, logistic operations, and order fulfillment.</p><p>PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIE<br>• Lead and manage the planning and purchasing team, including setting goals and managing performance to those goals. Plan and manage the development of the team.<br>• Responsible for defining and managing key supplier quality improvement needs, including supplier visits to review, plan, track, and execute corrective actions. Develop and expand use of Supplier Scorecards.<br>• Maximize the Leavoy Rowe on-time delivery performance (OTIF) vs. a target of 98%; define and implement corrective actions for continuous improvement. Develop on-time delivery performance metrics to better reflect service as viewed by the customers.<br>• Lead and manage the Purchasing performance of the Leavoy Rowe operation, as measured by inventory turns/DSI. This includes the continued maintenance and expansion of PFEP methodologies to improve ordering cadences and better manage the Purchasing function.<br>• Report out and manage all Inventory improvement plans including inventory accuracy improvements, disposition/execution of excess/obsolete inventory, improved planning systems, etc.<br>• Develop, implement and maintain policies and procedures for the planning/purchasing functions, as needed to support business requirements.<br>• Leads the Operations team in the Sales &amp; Operations Planning (S&amp;OP) process – demand and supply planning.<br>• Manage and develop supplier base to support our operation. This includes locating and developing new suppliers and supplier performance management.<br>• Maximize the value of the supply chain including best pricing, on time delivery, quality and working capital. Deliver year over year cost reduction and meet established productivity targets.<br>• Lead the Logistics team to success. This department includes a manager and a number of hourly shipping and receiving clerks.<br>• Other duties as assigned</p><p>JOB REQUIREMENTS<br>• Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Logistics, Transportation or other related field.<br>• 5-10 years’ supply chain management experience.<br>• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage and function effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a multicultural environment.<br>• Project Management and implementation experience.<br>• Possess critical thinking and analytical skills.<br>• Proven track record in achieving organizational results.<br>• Ability to be flexible and quickly adapt to changing business needs and processes.</p><p>TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT<br>• Permanent, Full Time</p><p>SALARY<br>• $43 per hour for 35 hours per week</p><p>LOCATION<br>• 3066 Jarrow Ave. Mississauga ON L4X 2C7</p>
